Automation & Instrumentation Engineer (Manufacturing)

We're looking for an experience and reliable Automation & Instrumentation Engineer to join a growing team for a marker-leading rubber products manufacturer!

• Location: Perak

the role

• Oversee the planning, execution, and maintenance of plant instrumentation, control systems, and electrical equipment.
• Support the department in implementing automation projects and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Troubleshoot, perform maintenance, and implement upgrades for DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems.
• Maximize system reliability and availability through continuous improvement, advanced diagnostics, and project execution.
• Review engineering documents, prepare procurement requests, and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
• Monitor project progress and task completion to ensure timely and efficient delivery.

the experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation & Control, Electronics, Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in in a manufacturing company working on project and maintenance of field instruments, control systems, and electrical equipment
• Strong hands-on working knowledge in instrumentation and controls, PLCs, DCS, communication protocols, and field sensing/transmitter devices.
